The Time Finder
My name’s Ben and I’m a 23 year old navigating this funny world post-university. I’ve had an exciting, interesting and complicated past few years which I could write a book about. The storyline has definitely kept me on my toes.
Now, the plot brings me onto my own blog focused on productivity and wellbeing. I won’t lie to you, the fact that I’m blogging is so random to me. I thought of the idea randomly before bed while thinking of different ways to build up a business of my own. Blogging is the first step and we’re rolling with it because I’ve realised how much I love writing about my experiences with life.
On Christmas Day 2022, I got this McLaren-themed notebook from my cousins which I turned into a life journal. The journaling of my life, on the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, gave me this new level of self-reflection and a map of my life at present. The ability to see that change over the years opened my eyes to who I was and what I could become.
Though, a lot of the time, I’ve noticed I struggle with productivity and feeling like I never have enough time. Sometimes, the smallest of tasks can feel like the most difficult problems to tackle and I can never work out why. Now that I know I have ADHD, as of August 2026, I can finally give myself some major self-compassion. Despite that, I’m always learning to find ways to manage this by looking after my wellbeing and giving myself some structure.
I’m hoping this blog will hold me accountable and maybe you too, whoever’s reading this. I have a lot of ideas for where I’d like all of this to go but we’ll take it slowly. For now, you can have this quote I randomly found on Pinterest… more to come.
“It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot if it”
